Lolita Teekränzchen February 2018

this month we were at Cafe Votiv for our lolita teekränzchen. I was not all too happy with the location because we were in a small sperarate room which looked a bit like a dirty broom closet. At least the food and service was decent.
I ate a toast and a delicious little chocolate cake with vanilla ice-cream.
It was so cold outside, I stuffed myself and my petticoat in a thick jacket and was all super unfashionable outside of the cafe.
The weather is only getting colder in Vienna and I really do hope it gets warmer and maybe we can do a lolita picknick.
I wore a simple coordinate because I felt like wearing this super old bodyline strawberry dress again.

Yeah, the cold wave from Siberia is horrible. The crocuses in the park near me were just about to blossom fully and now I worry that they will die and we won't have any this year (we might also have late daffodils, they're usually out around mid-March, but if this weather continues, they probably won't be out until April, if at all). And I'm sick of wearing so many layers just to stop myself from freezing, so I also can't wait for spring and warmer weather. It's impressive that you still wore such a cute, light coord, I don't think I would've dared, not even with an unflattering coat etc. :P
ReplyDeleteAt least now, 1-2 weeks later, spring is slowly creeping up on Winter and kicking it's butt! Hooray!
DeleteThe secret is definitely layering, even though at some point you look like a big marshmallow, but it really helped in the cold.
