Hello lovelies,

I spare you with my whole travel journal thingy and directly come to the more important stuff. What did I buy where, how does it look like and how much was it. :D

The first part will be about the fabric market in Dongdaemun.

Location: You get off at the station "Dongdaemun" with the Line 1 and 4. The Exits are number 8 and 9. It's a white building right across the Dongdaemung East gate. You can't miss it. :)

The market ist huge and nothing compared to the stores in Austria. It has 6 floors with buttons, fabrics, lingins, accessoires, sewing magazines, charms, china, living and household goods, beads, feathers and so much more!
Everything is so packed and huge, I got lost so many times! And I am a 100% sure that you could spend days there, without seeing a booth a second time if you are thouroughly.

The opening hours as following:
Monday ~ Saturday : 8:00 am ~ 6:00 pm
Sunday (limited number of stalls are open) : 8:00 am ~ 6:00 pm
Closed on New Year’s, Seollal, Chuseok and summer break (dates change each year)
Note: Despite the official hours, many fabric shops tend to close about 5:00 pm. Many also tend to open later than 8:00 am. Each stall is an independent vendor, so opening/closing hours will vary.

I am recommending this place to everybody who is not afraid of too packed places because it's very narrow and you have problems when two people want to pass each other. People who are claustrophobic shouldn't go there too. Apart from that, it's sewing heaven! And so cheap!

Here is what I bought:

 I plan to do a pin up/50s sailor outfit with this fabric. Price was 5.000won (3€) per yard (90cm)

On and I definitely have to do a cute lolita skirt or dress with this fabric. I love the flowery print. Price was 5.500won per yard.

I don't know the price for these buttons and cute accessoires but I know they were quite inexpensive. And now I want to decorate my mobile phone with cakess and chocolate *-*
